Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your TradeConnect account
(app by Anand Chandran Pty Ltd (ACN 683 956 505), trading as
TradeConnect; package com.australialiving.tradeconnect) and what
happens to your data.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the TradeConnect app.
- Go to Profile (bottom-right) → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Complete the confirmation prompt to confirm it's you.
- Your account is deleted and you're signed out immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
If you can't access the app, email support@trade-connect.com.au from the email address on your account (or include your registered phone number) with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and delete your account within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or irreversibly anonymise your personal data, including:
- Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo
- Your profile details (trade/business info, bio, certifications, insurance)
- Your messages, job posts, applications, reviews and uploaded photos
What is retained, and for how long
Some records are kept after account deletion only where we are legally required to, or to complete a transaction:
- Invoices and payment/transaction records are retained for up to 7 years to meet Australian tax and financial record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
- These retained records are dissociated from your profile where possible.
All other personal data is deleted within 30 days of your request.
